Practitioner Data Bank
This
is a federally created clearinghouse that contains certain adverse information
about practitioners (medical and psychiatric physicians, physician assistants,
nurse practitioners, dentists). As with
any bank, you can only make “withdrawals” if you also make “deposits.” In other words, you must sign up to
participate in the bank. Also, only certain
entities can sign up.
